Recitals
We usually schedule 2 each year in the fall and in the spring. Occasionally, we will play at a
nursing home/retirement village around Christmas.
Junior Festival
Students prepare 2 memorized pieces and play them before 2 adjudicators for written
evaluation. This is a very positive and motivating event.
Solo & Ensemble Contest
Students play for a panel of judges and receive comments and ratings on their performance.
Note: This is a school-sponsored event so student's should inquire with their school music
teacher.
OMTA Piano Competition
Students play for a panel of judges and receive comments and ratings on their performance
and a winner is chosen.
